2012 Poco Mens Masters Division (Division Two)
This division will provide the opportunity for players to play in a less competitive environment. We are trying to establish 4 teams for 2012, with an opening day set for June 3rd. All games will be played at Thompson park in Port Coquitlam on Sunday mornings. The season will run from June 3 - July 29 with no games on long weekends, followed by playoffs in August.
The league is open to all players over the age of 30 who are wanting to play baseball. The league is meant to supplement the current over 30 league as a second division for those looking for a less competitive environment. All skill levels and experience welcome.
If you are interested in playing please fill out the registration form. At least 48 players are needed to run a four team league. If we don't get enough interest to fill the four teams the league will not run this season, so fill out the form and tell your friends.
The cost will be $100 per player and you will receive at least 9 games, a hat and use of a jersey. The jersey's will remain property of the league for future seasons. The league will supply an umpire and game balls for each game.
Game times: Sunday mornings 8:30am and 11:00am
So far we have 10 registered players. We are trying to get a minimum of 48 players committed by May 25th. Check back often to see how our recruiting is going.
